MADISON – A rock band of seven suburban moms, “the Mood Swings,” will perform from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 22, at 54 Main Bar and Grille on Main Street in Madison.

RESIDENTS of a Hexham retirement home are walking on the moon after picking up a musical moneymaker. For they have been given a guitar once owned and now signed by Wallsend’s Gordon Sumner – better known as international superstar Sting.

Fender’s Custom Shop has come out with a master built exact replica of Yngwie Malmsteen’s infamous “Play Loud” guitar. The original guitar was the one he brought with him when on his first trip to America and has been a stalwart of his live and recorded performances ever since.
