Lake Forest High School's APT-sponsored 2010 Talent Show, called the "hottest ticket in town" by Technical Director Brad Balonick -- and the product of many a high school mom's blood, sweat and tears --has been classically entitled The Show Must Go On.

Jimi Hendrix has been dead almost 40 years, but his influence endures through subsequent generations of guitar players. On Tuesday, a large roster of guitarists will convene at the Uptown Theater as part of a tribute to the legendary musician.

Alkaline Trio will be auctioning an electric guitar used in recording their latest album, to raise money for the defense fund of Damien Echols (who is on death row), Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, Jr., who were convicted of murdering three eight-year-old boys in 1994.
